Hello Saint Francis Brass,
I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
The holidays are almost over and we will have our first rehearsal of 2025 this Sunday, January 5th. We have just 2 rehearsals before we play a church service at Saint Francis at 10:30am on January 19th.
If you haven’t already marked your attendance plans in the band attendance sheet, please do so!
This Sunday we will collect the Holiday binders that we used for the last concert. If you have moved any music from your other binder to the Holiday Binder, please move it back before you turn it in. These pieces probably include:
- Fanfare Jubiloso
- Gabriel’s Oboe
- I Dreamed A Dream
- What A Wonderful World
John Morrison will be out of town this weekend, so I will direct the rehearsal this Sunday. John has left us with a lot of new music to look at. The first batch is for consideration for the church service. The last 5 might be for the February gig at Stoneridge.
Only 3 of these pieces are currently in your folders. The rest will be in the music crate in your hanger on Sunday. They are all available now on the google drive if you want to have an early look. Here are the selections for Sunday:
- Abide With Me
- Divine Pursuit
- I Love You, Lord
- Just As I Am, Without One Plea
- Serenity
- Make Me A Channel Of Your Peace (in binder already)
- Fanfare Esprit (in binder already)
- Wondrous Grace (in binder already)
- Hey Jude
- (The) Impossible Dream
- Arrival Of The Queen of Sheba
- Eine Kleine Nachtmusik
- Exultation
Have a great rest of the week and I will see you Sunday!
